There are 4 steps to take to enable AppZen Audit for your Concur account
Before you start you will need to send Concur your Letter of Authorization, please speak to your AppZen Account Executive to get this form.
You will also need to confirm which version of Concur you have.
How to identify
|Small Business||AppZen Audit does not support the Small Business version of Concur|
|Standard Edition||Have your Administrator login. If they see a SETUP menu with a sub option for EXPENSE within the ADMINISTRATION menu this is the Standard edition.|
|Professional||Have your Administrator login. If they do not see the EXPENSE option within the ADMINISTRATION menu at the top of the page you have the Professional/Premium edition.|
|Premium||Have your Administrator login. If they do not see the EXPENSE option within the ADMINISTRATION menu at the top of the page you have the Professional/Premium edition.|
Here are the steps to enable AppZen Audit for your Concur account:
1. Create a new user with Web Service Administrator Rights
2. Enable AppZen as a Partner Application
3. Provide AppZen with Credentials for the new user
4. View audited Reports in AppZen Audit Console
Step 1: Create a new user with Web Service Administrator Rights
Concur Standard Account – Click on Administration->Setup->Expense. Then click on Users on left tab
and then click Create/Edit User. Create a new user (e.g. email@example.com) and ensure that
newly created user has all the permissions checked.
Concur Professional/Premium Account –Click on Administration tab & then click into the Company
Admin menu. Click Add New User
• Find the newly created user and select Add to grant the following permissions:
1. Web Services Administrator.
2. Expense User
3. Expense Approver
4. Report Admin
5. Report User
6. User Admin (ReadOnly)
Click on Administration->Company->Web Services. Then click on “Enable Partner Application” and find
AppZen Expense Report Audit in the list partner applications.

Step 3: Provide AppZen with Credentials for the new user
Please provide your account executive the credentials for the new user with Web Service Administrator
rights. Please use either encrypted e-mail or provide the user name and password over the phone.
Step 4: View Audited Reports in AppZen Audit Console
The AppZen implementation team will then create an account for you and link it to your Concur
account. You will be able to login to the AppZen Audit console and view the risk score assigned to each
Reports submitted in Concur will be automatically pulled at hourly intervals and automatically audited.
